You'll also be close to attractions like Selwo Marina, the Tivoli amusement park, the Sealife Center, the Cable Car and the Bil Bil Castle. The distance from the complex to the beach is only 100m. The complex has 15,000 m² of gardens, and artificial lakes, 5 swimming pools communicated all of them through giants and exciting slides that create a water park 2000 m² of water surface, including a separate pool for children. The complex Benal beach also has a water bar. An impressive modern work built between 1987 and 1994 by Dr. Esteban Martín and two assistants. Dr. Esteban was a surgeon in love with history and art who, at the end of the last century, left the scalpel to build a monument in honor of Christopher Columbus and the Discovery of America.
For more than 15 years this Doctor was taken for a madman, he fought like Quixote against the mills, and he dedicated his entire fortune (he ended up almost ruined) to build this great monument.
